This Strawberry Cashew Smoothie was designed for those of you who want a healthy, filling, and delicious smoothie that doesn’t contain and banana or avocado. It’s also a Fast Diet friendly smoothie for those of you who are having success following the Fast Diet (aka Intermittent Fasting) and want to keep life interesting!
I read ALL of your comments and because so many of you asked nicely, I designed this smoothie to contain NO banana, avocado, or cottage cheese (per your request).
Plus, I’ve kept the ingredients to an absolute minimum so that you can whip it up in a matter of minutes.

Strawberry Cashew Smoothie
Recipe type: Breakfast
1 scoop strawberry or vanilla Whey protein powder = 20-30 grams of protein and around 110 calories*
8-9 small strawberries (20 calories)
2 Tbs cashew pieces (85 calories and 2.5 grams protein + necessary fat to keep us full and absorbing vitamins)
1 Tbs. Collagen Hydrolysate (21 calories and 5 grams protein)
1 cup ice
½ cup water, coconut water or liquid of your choice (maybe vodka isn't the best choice here 😉
*Feel free to throw in a handful of spinach for extra fiber and to increase the nutrient density
Blend and serve!
* If the protein powder you use has fewer than 110 calories then feel free to add more nuts or strawberries! If it has more, don't sweat the small stuff. It's okay!
