I am looking for a healthy granola bar and/or recipe similar to Kashi’s TLC Peanut Peanut Butter Granola bars but without soy ingredients. Terra P. Missouri

Dear Terra,
I did manage to find some granola bars that do not contain soy and are relatively low in sugar. However, I can’t say that any of them reminded me much of the Kashi TLC bars. Mrs Mays trio natural bars and Bora bora organic snack bars are both available at Costco. Neither are overly sweet and both contain a combination of nuts, seeds and dried fruit. Larabars are another great choice, although different in texture than either Kashi or the two bars mentioned above. The nutritionals on these tasty bars do report more sugar, however they do not contain “added sugar.” I personally love the Jocolat flavor and find that they keep me full for a long time. They are available at Costco as well, but you can find them just about everywhere.

As far as a recipe goes I am still working on that one…. If anyone has a great granola bar recipe send it in!
